A judge, a deputy, and a court reporter were killed and another deputy wounded in shootings at the Fulton County Courthouse in downtown Atlanta this morning. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution said that Don O'Briant, a features reporter for the paper, was beaten by the suspect and carjacked outside the courthouse, and another AJC employee was involved in a second carjacking related to the incident (see separate story).According to the paper, the suspect apparently carjacked three vehicles following the shooting.

Atlanta subways to get TV, radio feeds
ATLANTA - By late spring, MARTA will become the first North American subway to pump television and radio feeds into its rail cars. Each of its 230 rail cars will be outfitted with 15-inch flat screens that will offer a local television news loop from ABC affiliate, WSB-TV, and transmitters that will offer three formats of on-board music - top 40, jazz and R&B.
